I love fall so much, and that includes all of the warm delicious spices and flavors too! These Autumn Spice Pear Chips are super simple to whip up for the whole family to enjoy. Just a few quick steps and into the oven they go.

Slice up your pears into ⅛ inch cuts on a mandolin or with a sharp knife. Lay all of the slices onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Next in a small bowl combine the spices: ginger, cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg.

Spray the fruit slices with cooking spray and sprinkle with the spice mixture. Turn pear slices over and repeat. Bake in a low temperature oven, 250℉, for 1.5-2.5 hours until dried and crisp to your desired texture!

Yum! I chose to slice my pears a little thicker and cooked them for 2 hours. The result was a crisp yet chewy pear slice. Drying fruit at home is so great because you can make it to your liking.

Whether you want them thicker or thinner, the longer you bake them the more crisp they will become!

Autumn Spice Pear Chips

INGREDIENTS
6 medium pears
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
¼ tsp. ground ginger
⅛ tsp. allspice
⅛ tsp. nutmeg
Cooking spray

DIRECTIONS
1. Slice pears thinly with a sharp knife or mandolin.
2. Mix all spices in a small bowl.
3. Spray fruit slices with cooking spray on the cookie sheet.
4. Sprinkle the with spice mixture, flip fruit and repeat.
5. Bake in the oven at 250℉ for 1.5-2.5 hours. Flip every 30 minutes.

SERVING SUGGESTIONS
